Education is the key to breaking the cycle of poverty! This is why at CAL we focus on proving the Children in our care with holistic education opportunities. We have professionals and teachers who ensure that the Children are well prepared and are able to sit for their term exams, grade 5 scholarship exams and the G.C.E ordinary level exams. We ensure the children get sufficient exposure to learning the English language and IT while also training and teaching them about life skills and development that will make them more employable in the future.

a) Making a one-time donation of a minimum of 30 UDS,

Help My Friends is a project run by CAL dedicated

Help My Friends is a project run by CAL dedicated to creating awareness about the struggles and difficulties faced by Street and Street Connected Children in Sri Lanka. The project aims to reach out to sponsors that can support the work carried out by CAL at the Child Development Centres located around the country that works around the clock to help children overcome the hardships of poverty. These Children come to the centres daily after school until their parents can pick them up. CAL provides each child that visits their centres with education, school supplies, uniforms, medical care and healthy meals while ensuring that these children have a safe environment to spend their time in.

You too can join the CAL family by sponsoring the financial needs of a child in the 'Day Kids Category' at the CAL centres. Donations can be made through one of the following ways;

1. As a one-time donation of USD 30 (LKR 10,800) or more

2. Sign up as a sponsor for 12 months with monthly donations of USD 30 or quarterly donations of USD 90
