Therapy for children provides an opportunity for the child to learn how to understand their emotions. This can help them see the connection between their feelings and behavior in order to have control of it. At CAL we provide therapy for children that need it but do not have access to it.
Many of the children we work with come from challenging backgrounds and this makes them vulnerable to many emotional and physiological issues like anxiety, anger, depression, and grief due to the experiences they have at home. Our counselors work towards breaking down problems so children learn to cope better. Many of these issue can create challenges for children in their education and communication skills .Therefore at CAL we also provide occupational and speech therapy as well.
